Biography: ‘Oi, right—about me. I've had to spend most of the war recruiting wizards to our side in Romania. International relations and all that. But it wasn’t a glory job. Not that I envy my little brother Ron any, but 've wanted to help more than I have. I did get to do a little spying, see what You-Know-Who’s minions were up to in my neck of the woods, and keep the rest of the Order informed. And there was that matter of the Ridgeback scales. Norbert still owes me for saving him from those Deatheaters. Not that he’ll ever thank me.
But with the war coming to its worst, my family needs to be close—so I've come home. I'm finally getting to see a little action. I've found work on a dragon reserve in Scotland, and I come home whenever I have a couple days off. Keeps Mum happy, which keeps Dad happy. Guess it gives poor Fleur a break too. Not that she doesn’t keep Bill hopping. Fleur’s more like Mum than either of them’ll ever admit. But I don’t think Bill minds. And I get a chance to have a go with Fred and George. We’ll always be good for a practical joke or a pick-up game of Quidditch when we aren't on assignment for the Order.
About Mum, lay off her, will you? I mean, she’s been through a lot. She’s got a right to worry. I’m not saying I tell her everything I do: I don’t have a death wish. But she’s a good witch, and she loves us. I don’t know what I’d do without her.
So, what's been happening this year? I dated Lavender Brown in November and December--that worked really well until I found out she was only dating me to get even with Ron. In January I made a new friend, Megan Jones. I started dating Daphne Greengrass--and it was all passion between us. Unfortunately, her mother hated me and Daphne never could decide how she felt.
About the time Daphne dumped me, March, and moved away, I realized that my feelings for Megan were changing. But with her hooked up with Wayne, I couldn't do anything but keep being her best friend. About that time Dad and Mum ran off and Percy disappeared. Life was shit.
In June my life came to a head in many ways---I was offered a job as CoMC professor and flying teacher at Hogwarts, and Megan and Wayne broke up--after he told her how I felt about her. Now I don't know where I'm going with Megan, just that I love her.
In July I found Percy and Fleur helped me get him to Mum and Dad. They'll have their hands full trying to turn 'Rouge' into a Weasley again. That's about it for me so far. Charlie
